Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has been used throughout the ages – it has many great health benefits including the ability to help with hair loss, skin dehydration and even has been associated with anti-aging creams.

However, probably the most common use of coconut oil is in cooking. It is commonly thought that coconut oil in cooking is far more healthy than common oils such as Canola oil and other vegetable oils. It has also been suggested that coconut oil has properties that can assist with weight loss.

One of the most well known and commonly consumed forms of coconut oil is Louana Coconut Oil. This common brand is remarkably cheaper although somewhat less healthy than organic varieties of the oil.

Alopecia

Alopecia is a serious condition that affects many men and women around the world. Essentially Alopecia is the loss of hair from the body – this could be as a result of anything from wearing a hat too much to a genetic disposition. Alopecia can be used to refer to baldness, constant pulling of the hair or even wearing the hair too tightly in the form of a pony tail or braid. This last one is known as traction alopecia.

If hair loss takes place in patches, this is a signal that one probably has alopecia areatea. If it is left untreated this can lead to complete baldness in the form of alopecia totalis.

If you are worried you might be suffering from alopecia, visit your doctor to get it diagnosed and treated as quickly as possible.
